the quality on the video lesson is fairly poor, but you can still learn what he's playing after viewing it a few times..the strumming part takes a while to get down

I guess Jakes site no longer sports the lessons online. However reviewing his Play loud Ukelele CD IN Daiei (Grocery Store) it sure looks like a fun CD to own-which dows have "How to play the Ukulele" on it as well as his Crosscurrent tour I guess.

Hi everyone,
I just saw Jake play here in Seattle at Bumbershoot 2004. Makana and Raiatea Helm were also on the bill.
I had never seen Jake before and he blew me and the audience away...he is amazing! Anyway, I saw this post about lessons and thought I would take a look but your right the lessons are gone on his new site but with a little search on "the wayback machine" http://www.archive.org/ you can find most of his website from 2002. The english ( http://web.archive.org/web/20040118155741/www.jakeshimabukuro.net/Englsh/lesson/... )version seems to be missing lesson 2 but you can find all three lessons in Japanese ( http://web.archive.org/web/20040110080247/www.jakeshimabukuro.net/Japanese/lesso... )

What kind of tuning does Jake use for most of his tunes?  I suspect its not re-intro but, I 'd like to know for sure? Thanks!
