This one is made of ebony, neck wood and koa, tuners, and MOP and abalone inlay from Hana Lima and figured maple binding, spruce top.

Ah Richard,

You are an inspiration!  Another beaut!  Are you actually producing about 4 ukes a year or have you just been on a building streak?  Then again it is a good NW winter hobby.  I have been studying your archives and want to thank you all the great photos.

I have just gotten serious about putting together the equipment to start my first uke.  Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the kind words!  This is my third.  Currently working on my fourth.  I'd like to make more, but I do what time allows.  Its great fun!  Its especially fun to play your own uke in a group when people ask whose uke I'm playing.  I can say proudly, "I made it."  Keep building!
