Sandpaper Cutter
A good time saver, this simple jig will cut your standard sheets of sandpaper like a dream.
A standard sheet of sandpaper measures: 9" x 11"

Sandpaper Cutter
Materials:
1 piece 1/2" or 3/4" thick Plywood by 12" width and 14" length
Small wood screws (2)
1/4 or 3/8" washers (2)
1 old or new hacksaw blade standard 1/2 inch by 12 inch length
12 inch plastic or wood flat ruler
Steps:
1. On 12" x 14" plywood piece draw vertical center line dividing
2" width into 6 inches.
2.On your 12" ruler...saw cut a 3/8 inch deep saw kerf starting on
The 5 and ½ inch line..and another saw cut on the 6" line.
Chisel out to create a ½ inch by 3/8 inch deep notch in the ruler.
3. Glue ruler horizontally onto bottom of your plywood piece so

Assembly Continued:
4. Align hacksaw blade so teeth are in line with vertical line on
Plywood board and one end of hacksaw blade is in notch of
Ruler.
5. Place one washer under each end of hacksaw blade in
Line with hacksaw blade predrilled holes. This will give space
for your sandpaper to slide under it easily. Screw each end to the Plywood.

Sandpaper Cutter In Use:
To Use, slide sandpaper under hacksaw blade abrasive side down.
Adjust sandpaper to whatever width using ruler to measure
Press down on hacksaw blade and tear.
